3D Geometry 3D Tools

Contains tools for drawing Civil 3D elements , applying linear and surface templates. Other tools include 3D by Volume (useful for pond design) and 3D By Slope to Target.

Select in the Toolbox	Description
Apply Linear Template	Accesses the Pick Template dialog then inserts the chosen template into the drawing relative to a linear element.
Apply Surface Template	Accesses the Pick Template dialog then inserts the chosen template into the drawing relative to a terrain model.
3D Elements Create 3D By Slope To Target Create 3D By Volume Create 3D By Plan Profile Plan By 3D Element	Creates a 3D element computed from a linear element to a surface. Creates a terrain modeling computed by volume from another reference surface. The Create 3D by Plan Profile tool creates a 3D element from a portion of a profile line. Creates a 2D element from a 3D MicroStation element and utilizes the original 3D element for the active profile.
